2. Information the app may collect
The app is designed to help people plan trips together. Depending on how you use it, the app may collect or store:
- Account information: email address, display name, sign-in provider, and profile photo if you add one.
- Trip and planning content: trip names, participants, dates, travel events, lists, notes, document metadata, and shared cost information.
- Files you upload: trip-related documents or images that you choose to add.
- Technical information: basic device/app information and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and manage your account;
- save and sync trips, participants, lists, documents, and shared costs;
- let invited participants access trip information they are part of;
- provide support and respond to requests;
- maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve app reliability.
4. Sharing and visibility
Trip information is shared with the people who are part of the same trip. For example, participants in a trip may see trip details, participant names/photos, documents shared with the trip, and shared expense information.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers.
5. Service providers
The app uses Google Firebase services, such as authentication, database storage, and file storage, to provide account and trip functionality. These providers process information on our behalf to operate the app.
6. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including Firebase security rules and encrypted network connections. No system is completely secure, so you should avoid uploading highly sensitive documents unless you are comfortable sharing them with your trip participants.
7. Data retention and deletion
We keep account and trip data for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You can request account or data deletion using our deletion page: Delete Account/Data.
8. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will review the request.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
